Beautiful park that is well-maintained and spacious. This was my favorite sight that we visited in Paris. I enjoyed walking aimlessly through the park on a peaceful fall Friday morning.
If you have time definitely stop and rest in the chairs near the pond that is south of the Palais and watch the cute ducks circle around the pond.
Definitely going to be my #1 recommendation for Paris! -

Near to Pantheon
So it was next in line for the day. Montmartre- Moulin Rouge- Latin Quarter- Pantheon and this garden. It is one of the best-known parks in Paris build in the 17th century. Lush green- clean and 2 rows of tall trees - that makes it amazing.
The central feature of the park is the large octagonal fountain-adorned pool. it is very pleasant to walk around; you will find an orchard, several varieties of apples, an apiary and a greenhouse with the orchid collection. There are 106 statues, a bronze reduction of the Statue of Liberty and 3 beautiful fountains.
The garden surrounds the Palais du Luxembourg, where the Senate seats. (that building is not part of the park, though it seems like ) There are many chairs spread about for visitors to use. You can see residents and students from the Latin quarter enjoying here. It's great to see a park like this in big cities. -

Beautiful and well-maintained garden. So relaxing to just hang by the flowers near the palace. Flower macro photo heaven!

Lovely to walk through, worth the stretch, even in the dull cooler months. It was fun to happen upon a miniature version of 'Lady Liberty' and though the fountains were not going, the park had big charm, including the Medici fountain area. People come to do their morning exercise constitutional, we had a nice stroll.

A giant garden in Paris. It is very spacious and we have noticed that there are more seniors and less tourists at this garden/park than any other gardens/parks. The Palace of Luxembourg is located inside the garden. Great for pictures taking. Note this is a free garden that you can enjoy. As well there are plenty of chairs and benches.
The park is well maintained and super clean. Would take 10 to 15 mins to walk from one end to the other.
